El pretérito perfecto simple (o indefinido) en segunda persona del singular ("tú") se forma con las terminaciones -aste (verbos en -ar) e -iste (verbos en -er, -ir). Es fundamental destacar que nunca añaden una "s" final (ej. correcto: cantaste, incorrecto: cantastes).

• Verbos -ER (comer): comiste.
• Verbos -IR (vivir): viviste.
